26" antique bisque head composition German Doll marked Special TLC

DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for a lovely antique bisque head German doll Marked "SPECIAL, 65" on the back of her bisque head. She has an "imperfection" a hairline on the back of her head, see close up please, it looks like a pencil mark, head is all together intact but I need to mention as you may wish to do a little restoration. Reference attributes "Special" to Kley & Hahn 1902+, also to Butler Brothers a distributor, with the head being made by other German firms, this head has a resemblance a dolly face by maker Armand Marseille.  Doll is a antique bisque socket head with jointed composition body. Doll is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, legs and knees with all fingers intact, I notice a little re-paint/restoration in places including on the side of her left hand, upper body area, and some on the feet. Body shows overall wear, paint loss, scuffs and a little touch up in places for being 100 or so years old.  Doll measures 26" tall has a "sweet" face with beautiful open and close brown glass sleepy eyes that work fine, she retains her upper hair eye lashes, has painted lashes around the eyes, brown brush stroked brows, open  mouth with upper teeth intact, subtle blush on the face with a faint dimple in her chin.  I flashed inside her head and do not see any cracks, just the hairline mentioned on the back of the head shown in photo #8. Her human hair brunette wig is charming, it slips over a pate on her head. Doll wears a vintage Turn of the Century style dress,it buttons down the back and has lace trim, there is a matching bonnet. She wears a vintage slip with lace trim, stockings and shoes. She is missing pantaloons.  Clothing could use a light overall cleaning after all these years, nothing terrible at all.
