    Description

    Exceptionally Rare Antique Handwerck ebony bisque head doll circa 1885~ on.  Head is marked on the back 109 H and is free of chips, cracks or hairlines. Standing 17" tall on her original composition body in good condition with age related wear and holds a pose well with arms being a little looser.  Large expressive almond shaped brown glass sleep eyes that the Handwerck dolls are so famous for, with a fully operational sleep mechanism.  She comes with her factory original pate and mohair wig that is sparse in areas, however a big plus to have the original.  Beautifully shaped coral tinted mouth slightly open revealing her square cut porcelain teeth and pierced ears free of chips, however earrings were lost somewhere in her time travels. Dressed in an original beautifully preserved factory chemise dress with some age spots, slip, bloomers, antique red leather shoes and wonderful net stockings.
