Antique German Pink Tint Hertwig Doll with Molded Bow in Hair Dollhouse Flapper

Hertwig made so many delightful dolls with interesting molded clothes and features! This one is a little antique dollhouse sized flapper cutie by this German manufacturer! There is a whole grouping of this doll series, with pre-tinted pink bisque to give them flesh tone. This example stands 3 1/4” tall and has a molded green bow in her bobbed hair, and expressively painted eyebrows over her side glancing eyes. She has sturdy little legs with stiff hips, and a chubby belly. Only her little arms are elastic string jointed—one straight and one bent at the elbow. I love her little old dress! The bodice has a tiny floral print reminiscent of Mary Engelbreit’s iconic designs. This antique dress is well made and lined with stiff cheesecloth. She’s a sweetie!
