FRESH FROM A LOCAL ESTATE - lovely and tender KESTNER - BIG GIRL

Description

This big girl is 31 inches tall. She is a Kestner 164. Look at the  quallity of her bisque, the delicate features, the even tone of her painting. Top to bottom, she is
great. Starting off, she has her intact mohair wig, not
a
lot of it, but as you can see, with a hat or cap on, the tendrils frame her
face in a wonderful way.  She also has her original
plaster pate, THAT
HAS
NEVER BEEN REMOVED. These dolls are so hard to find. Her face without flaw, with pale bisque and
with those big brown
sleep
eyes. Open mouth with teeth. Another hint that this is an early doll is that her beautiful body is not
marked, nor is there
the
term
'dep' in her maker's marks. She has all of her fingers and toes. She is wearing an antique child's
dress.
She also has pantalettes. She wears socks and antique
German
shoes in good shape.
Her marks are clear and deep:
'Made in Germany, M, 15 3/4, 164'.  The photos are an essential part of the description.  Please ask questions early. Where on earth would you find an all original Kestner, except her clothes and shoes. Remember, with these big
girls,
they
have increased shipping costs b/c of their weight. As
