    Description

    Organic Transit ELF Solo electric trike. Condition is "Used".
    1995 Model #EL215HAA468.  Features:
    Nuvinci gear hub
    All tires pretty much new
    Front two tires:  Schwalbe Big Apple.  Left 26 x 2.0.  Right 26 x 2.35
    Rear tire:  Kenda Flame 26 x 3 with Felix tube
    Charge system included
    Overall in reasonable shape for six years of age.  I am second owner.  I've used it for a 6 mile work commute over the past two years.  I've decided the vehicle is not what I really need for transportation. I'm not that much of a DIY person, and the nearest repair shop for this type of vehicle is 30 miles away in Durham, NC.
    Here are details, especially for those who already know something about the Organic Transit ELFs that were built in Durham, NC.
    Nuvinci hub works well.  Acceleration is fine.  The steering assembly is in good shape with no antler problems.  Battery is original fr 2015 and overdue for replacement---currently get 10-12 strong miles out of one charge up.  Computer controller works fine.
    The vehicle is due for a thorough fixing up.  Issues that I am aware will need addressing:
    Needs a new battery to restore full range.
    As is typical for this model, the solar panel no longer charges---topic covered on the facebook group.
    Has some of the typical body cracks including front and rear grey panels, and right side corner panel near the side mirror
    Seat cover still works, but two buckles need replacement.  Two replacement buckles included!
    Electrical connectivity issues; electrical system needs complete check over:  [1] Horn works intermittently only.  [2] Right side headlight does not light. All other lights work.  [3] On my last drive, one mile into ride, the computer showed normal power, but no power went to the motor.  Next day I was able to drive the ELF home with no power issue though---facebook group suggests heat related connection issue.
    Rear chain sometimes falls off the right-side sprocket.
